Bob Mahaffey has been actively involved in many organizations that have given Bob the experience to qualify him for being the best candidate for City Council - representing Des Moines' Ward 2. Some of the reasons ILA PAC believes you should vote for and support Bob for this important position in Des Moines city government are:

He pledges to balance the budget without cutting essential services or reducing the quality of life.
He has the seasoned skills of a CPA to analyze the city's budget and make sound decisions.
He is focused on maintaining adequate police and fire protection to the people of Des Moines for their properties, homes, schools and businesses.
During these times of difficult budgets, he is dedicated to controlling property taxes and other tax issues while maintaining equal services for the money Des Moines citizens pay.
